I recently bought a juvenile German Blue Ram. There were 4 of them left at the LFS and there were 2 that were more colorful then the others, so i told the guy to get one of those 2 so he did and i was happy. Now, tonight i'm feeding all the fish and the GBR comes up to eat and I notice that his mouth looks like its over more to the left side, like its not centered. I thought maybe it was just the little stripe above his top lip making it look off-centered but then i looked really closely and i'm pretttty sure its a little off base haha. He seems to eat good, but then again its sorta hard to tell because he keeps spitting the flakes out. I'm thinking they're different then what he ate in the store and hes not used to them yet. He also seems to have no problems opening and closing his mouth when breathing. So anyway, since he appears to eat okay and is healthy (atleast i think he is!), do you think theres anything to worry about now or in the future with his mouth?? So far he seems to be adjusting well considering some people have major difficulty with keeping them alive. Just got him on.... tuesday i think. I want to make sure he stays healthy!!

everything should be fine as long as he's eating. Let him just get settled in his new environment.
