OK, here's the deal. I just combined my two communities, my 55gal and my 80 gal, both into my 80gal. Now I have a bare 55gal just begging for some new fish.

Now that I have a great community tank I want something different for my 55gal. :help:I am constantly running different scenarios and ideas in my head. But, I still cannot decide on what I want the theme to be. Some ideas I have had are:idea: cichlids, oddballs, larger fish(like up to 8-10in), aggressive tank, species tank. There are so many ways I could go. What I want is something very interesting, and that is why I want to know what you, the aquatic community may have to suggest for me. Please offer your suggestions and input. Thanx for your help in the possibility of me deciding on what to do.

That's a good problem to have!

I think you should avoid big fish, just because the tank is so narrow from front to back; it can be hard for an 10-11" fish to turn around in 13" of space. Of course, that doesn't apply to long and flexible critters like ropefish or some cats.

If it were my tank, I'd get a few medium-sized (5-6") predators like some of the smaller sunfish or cichlids and plant it thoroughly.

get a pack of tiger barbs and feed them guppies

do and african stup, or a big comunity

Multies! maybe a pair or two of julis.

Everyone loves shell dwellers, except the previous inhabitants of the shells of course.

maybe somthing like my 20gal. or you could do a shole of harlequins like 15, and maybe 10 rummynose
