I want to add another piece of driftwood to create a Dual Arch on the left of the piece twards the Javafern, Other then that It's gonna stay like that for awhile

Looks nice! I wouldn't mind living in their myself...

What are the little tags in there? Are those the plant ID/care things?

Yeah, I know, tacky...but I want to keep track of what the plecs in there eat and what ones they stay away from....so Far anubia and Java fern... the tags also allow me to know what they like so I can have a seporate tank with their plants in and throw some in for a treat kinds

everything they eat.... I was shocked to see some hefty pieces of the original Driftwood missing, Combo of a Royal and a Mutt pleco

no way. they were rasping the driftwood, huh? i'm so glad the store took mine back after 3 months of having it.

your plec? what kind? I am always interested in fun plecs, I have too many of them :D

it was just a common, Hypostomus plecostomus. He tripled his size in 3 months, and started terrorizing everybody. When he started chasing my golden dojo, that was the last straw. that guy is my baby and NOBODY hurts Lo-Chi-Minh.

it's funny that you said your dojos were shy when you only kept one. my guy, before i got him a buddy, was very outgoing and active. swam around constantly and loved to explore my hand whenever it was in the tank. now they're both the same way: active, happy, inquisitive and friendly. I love 'em. they're like dogs. they'll even rest with their chins propped up on things, like a puppy :)

yeah, I love bottom feeders, too. they're just so much more interesting than "regular" fish. no offense, everyone out there.

I have royals, gold nuggets, Zebra(s) (plural, sig gives a hint) Goldy's I even have a mutt, I say that because he hates me and should be a golden color and is pitch black every time I see him. Kinda irritated about that but there's nothing I can do about that

I forgot my l200 Green phantom plec, 5 commons ( 4 outside in ponds) massive things

That makes sense, after thinking about it. Slow-growing plants, like those two, tend to invest in structural defenses. That's why anubias is thick and hard, java fern is grainy feeling. Those defenses make them harder to graze on, less nutritious, and probably less palatable. They grow so slowly partly because it takes so much energy to direct resources to those structural needs.
