moving 100 gallon

Rubbermaid containers for the fish with the filters running on them as jm1212 said. Put the sibstrate in buckets and cover with water. The rest of the water isn't worth anything.

thats what i would do. put the fish heater and filters in one tub and the substrate and rest in another. i would put a air pump in there also so the water keeps o2 in it.

For the purpose of moving tanks around 100% water change is just fine! Ive done it several times over the years when upgrading tanks or moving fish etc. Why wouldn't it be ok? I do 90% water changes weekly on my fry tanks!

same here. as long as you match the temp and everything it should be fine.

can i keep them in a 5 gallon bucket each and the substrate and ornaments in another

As long as you have some sort or heater to keep the temps from fluctuating too much and some sort of filtration. As mentioned earlier you will want some kind of air pump for surface agitation. A rectangular tupperware container would be easier to hang a filter on.
