I have a bubble tip sea anenome that likes to move. Thats ok but he likes to move to the back side of my live rock. Where he cant get any light and he starts to look bad, so I have to move the piece he is on to make it better for him. Is this normal. Thanks for the help.

You mind if I ask you a couple of questions? What kind of lighting do you have how large is your tank, how old is your tank, what sort of substraight do you use, how often do you feed what do you feed etc.
Anemones usually don't move around too much unless they are unhappy. Just a little more info might help someone tell you what the issue is.

I have a 12 gallon nano cube with the built in lights and I have live sand and live rock. I feed the fish in the mronign and the night. He has since seeme dto stop moving now but he used to move quite a bit. I have one question though where should he be placed near the top or in the middle.

what is the wattage or type of light? That tank is probably too small for an anemone and she may be in trouble. You can't control where or when an anemone will move. I have one that has decided it likes to live on the underside of my rock away from the light......it has been there since I got it and hasn't moved......I feed it a silverside every second day trying to build up it's zooanthelle to no avail.....and I have a very stable well lit 75g tank....go figure

I'll third the not happy vote . Your tank is or will be way to small for it. What sort of fish do you have in there and how attached are you to them? I'm not trying to flame you or anything but, sooner or later it's going to start munching on them if it makes it.
I'd also guess that your tank is pretty new and they really don't like anything but a well established large sized tank that has really stable water chem ph,salinity, low nitrate levels etc. If possible I'd trade it in or give it back to the fish store.
Sorry, I know that this isn't what you wanted to hear and to answer your last question let it go where it wants.
hth and sorry
Chris
