So today my son and I decided to move the adult cichlids from the 33 gallon upstairs to the 55 gallon in the family room. I brought down 2 afras and two babies while he caught the remaining 3 afras. When I brought the other bag down I looked in the first bag and thought I saw a bunch of torn fins floating. Upon a closer look it was a bunch of babies. I couldn't count them as mom was frantically scooping them up into her mouth. It looked to be at least 15 though. This is the third spawn of afras we have had since Jan. I have not seen fish spit before and it was very cool seeing her round them up.

Wow how fun!! How are they all setup now? Are you going to try and keep the new fry?
