Now I know what the little critters look like! I just dumped mine in the tank and watched them slowly "sink" into the sand. I never got to see anything more than the shell.
I have a ton of these guys - they are a lot of fun to watch (when they're not buried in the sand). 
I quick note - they reproduce VERY quickly! And they're hermaphrodites so they reproduce all by themselves - but the little ones are so adorable!

mine are just an ugly brown/yellow color. i thought they were dead but when i started their drip acclimation, they started crawling all over the bucket. i rarely see them except for the morning when i first turn the light on. I'm so excited to be getting more from Jinxy.
