MTS SNAIL QUES.

Ok these are livebearers, here is a profoundly dumb question, where do they come out of? (no silly answers I know the birds and the bees children) do they come out of the bottom of their shell or from the top opening?
(I ask tons of ques. because my snail tank is right next to my computer and it constintly gives me things to ask about!)

*EDIT* Dang, just noticed that it's a land snail... I'll look for an aquatic snail anatomy.

The babies are stored in the brood pouch until they're ready to come out. The pouch I believe, are the little "spikes" at the rim of the shell, above their heads.
