Multi Tank Stand

alright yeah I will have to work out some measurements as I dont want the bottom tank to be too low but I dont want the top tanks too high either

With smaller tanks thats fine. But those suckers are 80gal and 6ft long. The beam to span that (safely) takes too much headroom between the tank. So I went with supports up the front of the bottom tank and made it a "design element".

With smaller tanks on the top it would be fine to span the whole gap, as the smaller tank stands do.

Actually, you're incorrect in your assumption. The four corners of the tank are supported and that's where most of your weight is. The span across has very little weight on it and that weight is distributed over linear inches. The max you would need for a 6 ft. tank is a 2x6 which is hardly "too much headroom" and provides a nice space to conceal lights.
