multiple bettas in 1 tank?

Thanks for the warning. So far I've had no problems but I'll definitely keep my eye on it. How exactly did it collapse?
 
I would stick with just females. by the way, that's a really pretty tank! Whatever you put in it will be happy. :grinyes:

Thanks! The male betta in there right now loves swimming around all the leaves. I've heard that 3 females would work better, but I feel really bad taking him out of there and moving him to something smaller, since its his home and all. If he flares at the other male right now does that mean he'll be aggressive to females too? or is that not always the case?

Nope. Males rival among themselves but they can also harass or even kill the female if she fails to respond to his call to spawn.
