I have Seachem's Betta Basics, and Top fin's Water Conditioner. Could I put both of these in my tank? Would combining these two improve my water conditions, or just make things wacky?

I don't know what's in either one, but there is a good possibility of a bad reaction. I wouldn't mix them.

Isn't that rather a waste of money and time? Just stick to the dechlorinators that cover both chlorine and chloramine and avoid the other conditioners.

You only need one of them...use them up then switch to Prime.

Can you tell that Prime has earned a reputation as the best conditioner on the market?

If you use both, you are not only wasting money, it's risking a reaction between the chemicals as well as risking a possible overdose of conditioner. I'd also use one up, then the other. I don't need water conditioners where I am (on a private well, not city water or anything), so I don't have experience with them. However, I agree that Prime is the most recommended conditioner out there.
