Hey Pitt, at approx four months of age, the Muzi fry are 2 cm (approx. 3/4"). They are still in the 10 gallon tank (very soon to go in a 30 gallon tank. I have been pretty faithful to a 50% water change every three days. I feed them my high protein staple mixture mentioned earlier. Because I work from home a lot, I feed them about three to four times per day (sometimes more). When I do a water changes, I vacuum the tank and clean the sponge prefilter and the filter in the AC50.
How does slightly bigger than 3/4 inches at 4 months sound for growth rate?
Btw: early fry mortality was minimal and after a couple months practically no losses.
I have since started two more 10 gallon fry tanks with calvus and comp fry and all seem to be doing excellent.
I just may, FINALLY, have a good routine for these little boogers :headbang2:
