Hm... what is that fine-leaved plant in the middle-bottom of your tank?
Quick question to everyone:
I have about 3 dozen java ferns of various sizes in my 10g tank with several fish. I have gravel, so I'd like to vacuum up all the dirty stuff weekly during the water changed. I'm started to get annoyed that I have to pull out the plants and rearrange them every time. Is there a solution to this?
Hm, the rock and even chopstick idea might be what I have been looking for! That way, the ferns will be more secure, because all they have hold on to in my tank is the gravel. I will need more rocks though.. I guess I could go buy some next time I'm heading out to the LFS.
Too bad driftwood is so expensive.. MY LFS has Malaysian driftwood, but it says on their sign to soak it for a month(!) before placing it in the fish tank. Is that really necessary?
