Yeah, I have mixed thoughts about the blue gems too, but my sister gave them to me and this tank is not really "natural" with the fake stump, so I figured why not? Kinda plays off the color of the Betta; He has a royal blue sheen to him. As they plants fill in I may remove them,,,,,,,,,,,
 
ur betta looks like me last bettta that passed away when he caught ick and didnt recover :(
