Just recently set this up, i put the tank together and let it sit about a week and then added one fish a week, no probs so far, but i just want to hear peoples opinions about what i am doing wrong, cause this is really my first tank but eventually, in the next 6 months i am going to move them into a bigger tank and look into getting more.

I started with an angel, which i am starting to think was a mistake, it is about two inches tall(my biggest fish).

Then a week later added a smaller chocolate angel, around 1 in tall maybe less.

Week 3: Dalmation molly, rather small.

Week 4:White and red molly, also both pretty small.

I don't know if i can add fish or if i should change my setup or what so just wanted to hear all of your opinions.

Thanks,
Tyler

Tyler,
Well first of all one ful-grown Angel will fill the whole tank just about(They get to be 6"), however angels can't live alone, they need a partner. SO you should have a 25 gallon or so tank to keep all those fish. BUT you probably won't won't be up to getting a bigger tank so you should take back the Angels.
The mollies, however, will get along nicely. If you add two cories in with that, IMHO, you'd have a nice mix of fish. But you absolutely-positively DON'T want to add more fish, at least until you take back the angels.

Good Luck!

How soon were you planning on getting a bigger tank? With that count, the sooner the better.

Angels should grow fast, so I would return them. I would also reconcider the mollies. Mollies breed very quickly, are very active and can also get to a decent size, I wouldn't keep them in anything less than 20 long. I more suitable sustituion for the mollies and angels would be 2-3 male guppies and 2-3 cories or kuhli loaches.

I would also recommend that you read up on fishless cycling, there's an article in the Article Index sticky.
