my 10g peppermint shrimp farm

here's the tank now. haven't seen any of the babies, so the prognosis is probably bad. but the female who had them is already berried again and another one looks like shes about to be so i must be doing something right

the new dead coral were ones that didnt make it at a local LFS, so i know where they came from. and at the cost of regular LR the price was right

Don't you have a hard time keeping the parameters and stuff stable in a 10g? I'd love to set up a 10g marine but I keep hearing that's too difficult.

A 10g would be difficult to keep stable but if you stay on top of it, you could be ok. Even my 28 gal can have big swings in params quickly if I'm not careful. It just takes more attention :D.

cool. what corals do you have in there?

the corals are all dead so they're really just like LR. iv got a piece of plate coral and a piece of brain, along with tonga branch LR

Pretty sweet little setup. Peppermint shrimp are fun to watch. What are you feeding them?

algae wafers, fish food, a piece of frozen scallop if im feeding the lionfish, and cylopeez for color

they're very fun, i bought another one a few days ago with weird black tail
