I really like the wood hardscape and your gourami looks great in there. The LED seems to be working out. I could not find the specs on this thread but are your lights drawing 18w or 9w?

Hey guys a quick little update:

Here is a before of how it first looked

Here it is now, proof that LEDs can grow plants, and do it well! No ferts, no CO2, no dosing, just root tabs and about 9 hours of lights a day.

Here is a close up of the java fern(?)

and a close up of the water esperia(?) still adjusting to growing underwater from the tube i bough tit in from pet smart, note the awesome, almost perfectly cube rock i found...

A memeber from a forum had offered to send me clippings of their plants that i could use in my tank, and was supposed to have shipped them, but i still havent received them, i will get more plants soon!

New addition, dwarf baby tear! got it at my LFS we will see how it does. Ive heard that its one of the more difficult plants to keep.

To be honest man i didnt think that those LEDs would grow plants but after seeing the pictures im impressed. This reminds me, i need to do an update on my planted 10gal

Wow you tank looks amazing! I wouldnt believe you could get that kind of growth with just leds, wow! It looks a lot bigger than a 10 too! I think it is water wisteria btw.

i wanted to know what you planted in between the original tank post and what the current complete flora list is now. I looked back at your post and saw that you started with a java fern and wisteria. what is the complete flora list now and also did you stop using co2?
