thats the hornwort. in there is so many platy fry. they all hide in there.

looks good, do you just have the hornwort tied on to your filter stem?

its not really tied. hornwort grows long i just wrapped some around the middle. i went around a couple times to each part and its stayed. when i am sending out free plants it makes it really easy to send. just grab some of the ends.

i have added plants 3 times. i have plants coming out of the water now.

on my Custom Member Page it has more of a update of whats in the tank. i am getting other fish. i just want my plants to be up and going before i got them.

Looking good dude. You've gotten some really nice growth in the past weeks.


Plants are addictive. Even more than fish are because you can easily trade off some plants to get new ones. I really didn't plan on being as heavily planted as I am but there are to many awesome looking plants out there.

If I feel that a certain plant doesn't fit I trade it off to someone for a different type. I've gotten so many trimmings and have given away so many I bet my neighbors think I'm a drug smuggler..
