my 125 gallon planted tank journal

time for more updates. some random shots. i took out one of the moss pieces now that the shrimp have built up a steady population. i plan to remove the hornwort in a little while once the other plants grow taller. different pics on different camera settings.

I think this aquarium looks great, but I would hate to be that big guy in there - he looks so cramped.

its 6 feet long 125 gallons for an 11 inch fish. he is king and nobody gets in his way. he is fine. most people would keep 5-6 oscars in a tank this size. he is actually quite happy. i handfeed him and pet him.
thanks for the compliments guys.

great looking tank. Love that little hide out under the moss. Do the new farlo___ (forgot name lol) ever hang out together??
at night they swim together when they eat, during the day they are always within 8 inches of each other. hopefully i have a pair that may mate.

Looking good !

Filtration? What lighting are you providing? Do you do CO2?
