My 125 Tank Build

It's so clean and organized. Nice work!

WOW! That looks great! I like the ballast box too....very clever.
I see the jug, which I assume is RO water....do you have a auto top off?
Great work...the black stand and canopy rocks!

Robbie...I haven't added the ATO yet but yes that is what the RO jug is for. THis coming weekend the tank should be ready to move over. Then I will have enough plug in space with my 2 DC8's for my ACIII. Right now nothing is on a timer or sequence...it is all manual.

Journey: thank you for the kind remarks. I am trying 'this time' to have it a more organized space underneath.

ChangDriX It is all expensive, but it took me so long becuase I was being cheap. Bought the stand/canopy as a kit and you put it together (no problem except for the doors) and the finishing is a PITA. But buying on Craigslist is the only way to go for a large tank IMO. Save lots and lots of $$ compared to buying new.

It's done

Here are the finished photo's. Still have to hand to canopy doors and the stand doors, but everything is moved. One main casualty is lost my anthias. I did manage to get the bristle worm....wooooo was he big, glad he didn't get moved. Ordered my chiller. Just in case anyone is looking for one DFS is having a bangup sale on Current Chillers.

Still have the final adjustments to make. But here it is.

Almost forgot the good news...one of my 4 peppermint shrimp is laiden with eggs. Hear they are near impossible to raise though.

in your case, you dont have enough covering for the who is getting chased. i love your rock world though. keep up the good work

Thank Vteel, appreciate the comments. I put the doors on the stand and the temps really rose. Ihaven't put the doors on the canopy yet until my chiller gets here this week. I miss the starphire glass from the 70 gallon, but the dimensions of this one make up for it (IMO).

THere are many pieces of rock behindthe major structures and lot of little caves for fish, inverts to hide in. I will try to post a pic later to let you see that part ofthe tank.
