tank is looking good, only thing i would change is to move around some of the individual plants from that big group of red plants

thanks for the suggestion. that is kinda a focus point since they are so close. i bet if u spread them out it will balance it more.

I like the placement of the plants actually. if you spread them out too equally, it'll look too "fabricated" .. Won't have a natural look. .. .
I must say though, I was never really crazy for that style of plants.. I would change them to somethingg that looks a little more real.

I think it would be awesome to get some live plants...I love your current setup, but the fakie plants really take away from the beauty of it. You could tie some java moss to the driftwood and get a few java fern for the bottom of the tank. Maybe add some natural looking rocks as well.
Out with the plastic in with the real. Thats what I would also do. Love the driftwood. I would condsider adding rocks to the ground or a surface plant such as microsword. Other then that looks very good.

it is true tho, once you go real you never go back, and to tell u the truth is anyone tells you that it is hard to keep a planted aquarium, they have clearly not kept one them selves and have no idea what they are talking about
should i wait till the tank is cycled to put the plants in, or when i go to get my betta tomorrow? (for my 2.5)
