My 135 gallon reef tank

All right, here are some quick updated pics. When I say quick, I mean quick. I will get more detailed and better pics when I get the initial final rock work done.

Looking good! I have had to do tank transfers 3 times is the last 12 months myself and will again in the next few months when I move so I feel your pain. Not a fun process at all, but it always seems to work out for the better each time.

Ok, so far I have got most of the coral back down off the racks and onto the rock. Now I need to get a frag tank going and all will be well.

So I ended up going to the Oklahoma Aquarium for a behind the scenes tour with my local reef club. Afterwards we all met up at the LFS I help out at from time to time. Of course with all the spending going on I didnt want to feel left out, so I came home with a large purple tang who was brought in by a gentleman about a month ago. The tang is blind in the left eye and only circles to the right. This makes the second fish in my tank that is blind in the left eye.
I also came home with a piece of war coral I have been wanting for over a year.

Here are the pics and more I took as well.

Reefbum, is the LFS you are talking about located on 61st? If so, I went there last night with my oldest daughter to get some water and found a $9 candy cane. I brought it home, acclimated the little fella and really like it. Looks to be kryptonite. It opens weird, but probably just getting used to the new digs. It only opens on one side of each "mouth." thought there was only two heads, but upon closer inspection there are at least five that all appear to be in good shape.

Unfortunatly no I am not allowed back into that store as long as the current owner is still there.
Aquarium Oddballs is the only place I go in town. I generally help out at Oddballs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
I dont work there or get paid, but Scott and I have been friends for years, so I help him out whenever I have time after work.
You need to come by and take a look, you will be amazed at all the different coral frags, and we wont BS you about your lighting or tank setup.
Start getting your water from Oddballs, his R/O unit is a fourthousand dollar unit, the water is guaranteed to have a TDS of 3 or less.

On the candy cane, it should start opening after getting adjusted. If not I can get you a replacement for cheap.

Cool. I have tried to go to Oddballs three times now. Each time is during their regular posted hours, but no one is ever there. is there a secret time to go? I have heard great things about the store but have yet to set foot inside. lol. Let me know when they are open as I would love to check it out.

Hmm, thats weird. I will be there today from 2-4:30. I am also usually there from 2-4 on thursdays and fridays. I know he has been shutting down on wendsdays the past couple of months after his baby was born. Generally he posts a note on the door if he has to leave for something. Usually after 2:00 is a safe bet on the weekdays. He may also be doing maintenance some of those days I am not there. Come by today if you can.
