My 185gal build in progress (lots of pics)

O, I also ordered a bunch of snails today. We'll see how they do with the other fish I want to put in there. I got a couple of different purple mystery snails, a blue mystery, a giant rams horn, and a bunch of MTS to keep my gravel stirred. I might have to get a few loaches to keep them under control.

Now that it's midnight, my pleco has woken up, and his coloration has changed drastically - he's quite brightly striped compared to his daytime self. He looks much more like the photos of the atabapo plecs I looked up earlier now:

Hey it was 11pm :p I'll get some veggies for him today. I never eat green stuff, my GF laughed at me and asked if she could take pictures of me buying produce when I told her :(

I think actually if I cooked the carrot he'd eat it. It moved a few inches during the night, so he musta been gnawing on it.
 
I have to say I'm really surprised at how much his color changes. This morning when I turned the lights on he was still all stripey, but when I left for work he was stuck to the back wall and almost completely black.
 
You could have tried a potato - or an orange - plecs love orange!

So is the sarasa just for cycling or do you plan to keep goldfish in this aqarium?
