My 185gal build in progress (lots of pics)

Well I had to have the thing out to glue rocks to the inside anyways, so I misted it with krylon over the epoxy. Looks much less cheesy now, but I've not had time to glue rocks to it yet and re-install. I will be building a new sump this weekend, so it probly won't happen for a lil while. :(

I'll take pictures of the new sump though ;)

your tank

hi there can you tell me why you never put the fibre glass caves in because i think they would have broken the background and made it not
look so flat because i thought you did a god job of the caves please let me know why you did not put them in and could you send a recent picture

cheers wayne

see post 401. Work is still in progress on them.

I actually went and collected a whole bunch of golf ball sized rocks and glued them to the inside last night. Hopefully monday afternoon I'll try fitting it in again.

This is amazing. Definitely makes me want to do something like this. I'm sure it feels very good to look at that and realize you built it rather than bought it.

Thanks! I'm trying to find time to go pick up my new digicam so I can update with pics. the update so far is... my oscar is starting to eat his tankmates... which I anticipated, but the loaches I think are next on the list, so I might have to do something. Sump is almost done, half the fiberglass BG is in, and I'm happy with how it looks. Pics as soon as I can, I promise!

god you have an awesome tank!

what kinds of plants are in there and where can i find some?

PM ME with info please :D
