My 185gal build in progress (lots of pics)

just went through this entire thread, and i gotta say that i am very impress and extremely jealous!!! GREAT TANK!!

Looking very good ....

How is your RUGF doing with the sand? Any sign of dead spots? I dont recall did you just place the sand over the pvc or did you put down some grating and mesh?

I'm thinking of changing from gravel over to a sand in my 75 when I do my first 3 month major cleaning ... but want to stick with an RUGF - I think I might pattern it after your project.

RUGF seems to be runnign without a hitch. I'm pushing 2500+gph though it. I don't think dead spots would show up though, as I also have an FX5 and a Koralia 4 running in this tank, so I have a decent amount of current.

Looks good...

Also looks like you had to do alittle modding to the center brace between the doors to get that thing in there :)

lol. yeaaah. had to saw the thing out :p

how beastly are your fish now....lets see some pics!

growing fast! all except my loaches. Little slow pokes. I'll post some pics tonight.

Oscar and BGK are around 7" now, have 2 plecos at 11 and 14", Aro is around 11" too, but he's decided to not eat for the last few weeks, so he's falling behind. ACF is full grown now, Dumbass goldfish is around 6". All the loaches are around 2", and one larger one at maybe 3"

OK, well one of the lovely children has kidnapped my camera, so here's the latest pictures I have. I'll get some individual shots when time permits.

the BGK is impossible to photograph, because when he's not hiding, he's zipping around at 100mph

Looking great, and love that Oscar!
