My 1st Saltwater tank

Here is a picture of the firefish that I put in the 65g last night. he is definitely not shy. He gave me a scare when I came home on my lunch break and did not see him. I looked and looked, then all of a sudden he swam out from under a rock.

I have not gotten a picture of the lmb yet. Everytime I approach the tank, he takes off into the rock.

Here are some pictures of the the true perculas in the q-tank. They are about 1" long.

In the above picture, you are seeing a reflection of the same fish in the bottom glass.

In this picture you can see part of the 2nd fish above the heater.

Here is the last picture. It's kind of blury, but both of them is in it together in a feeding frenzy.

I know, I need to clean the glass on the q-tank. I finaly got a picture of the lmb while he was perched in a hole in a rock I will upload it and post a picture of it later. All of my fish are eating good and is very active.

I just noticed a cerith snail on the glass in the back corner of my tank with what looks like eggs coming from him. Could not get a good viewable picture of them. Looks kind of like Blinky's picture. Hope this is a good sign of a healthy tank.

Very nice Ms. Dorothy, I was surprised to see you removed your seio pumps for maxijets. I find the seio's give a gentle flow compare to maxijets which is hard and narrow. The 2 seio's 620 actually pump 1240gph in a wide soft current. 3 maxijets actually pump 885gph in a higher velocity. So although it doesn't appear so, they give actually more flow.

More pics pls!

I had to send the seio's back to foster & smith. One of them barely worked, and the other one kept shutting off. If I wiggled the cord a little, it would come back on. I didn't want to fry anything in the tank. I was afraid to order another one after that. I told them to exchange them for more maxijets.

I discovered something in the tank today. It is a pale pinkish color with a lot of legs and claws. I took some pictures of it, they're uploading now. Will post a picture in a few minutes.

I have 2 SEIO 820's and they need to be shaken to start which is a pain....they shouldn't but when they won't start a good firm shake starts them up. Other than that I like the flow they produce soft and wide not blasting....
