I am converting my FOWLR to a reef. Purchased a Lavendar Mushroom today... Will post pics soon.

Inhabitants: sixline wrasse, saddleback clown, firefish, 4 nassariaus snails, 2 astrea snails, 3 blue leg hermits, 1 scarlet hermit.

Going to add a cleaner shrimp, and a peppermint shrimp or two, along with a few more hermits...

Lighting: I have a Current USA Satellite 2x65w light over the tank with moon light.

Filtration: 5 gallon sump w/Caliprea (sp?) w/145 gph pump (will post pics soon), 2 AC20 HOBs, 1 AC30 Powerhead.

Questions, do I have too much light, or will I have to limit my coral selection because of the light? (5.5w per gallon)

Do I have enough water movement on my tank?
 
imo with your lighting you can only have soft corals. you will be pushing it if you get lps corals too. but like i said this is imo. im sure other people will think differently
 
If i were you i would step up to some t5ho's or a halide pendant 150w. this way you can keep more of the colorful corals. For mushrooms and some leathers possibly some lps the power compacts will work.
 
Your light is fine for almost every softie, and low-end LPS.

Can't wait to see some pics.

Reallly? Everything I have read says they are fine, Camelbacks are bad. I can definitely identify them as Peppermint, and my Star Polyps are fine after three days...
 
I had no problems with my peppermints that had them in a tank with star polyps... dont know what was up with your shrimp DoctaQ

also, in the subject of flow, its hard to have too much. If your flow is too low or if there is a dead spot, you will start to see sediments acumulating in those spots and/or a buildup of algae in those spots. if you dont have a problem with this then your flow is fine
