It's certainly nothing special, but I hope to add more live plants to fill in the gaps. I especially want to hide those ugly cords in the background! Blah! I'm pretty new to the hobby but I'll post a picture of my tank now and perhaps add another later on when my tank has grown and when I've grown more experienced.

Pretty cool...

First thing I'd invest on is a background. It'll really add to the look of the aquarium .

Little piece of personal advice, I always prefer solid dark color backgrounds... Either black, ir a dark blue-black/gradient type color... brings out the decoration of the items in the tank more, rather than flooding it with graphics ....

haha, thats exactly what i was gonna say. i would also consider adding a couple more otos as they like to be in groups of 6 or more. the cories do also but ive found otos are more sensitive and adding more cories and otos would be overkill for the tank.

tank looks cool though

Thanks for your suggestions guys! I think I will go with a dark blue or black background. The tank does seem to be missing something and I don't think it is lack of decoration. I agree that a black background would help to highlight my decorations and I think it will make the fish more comfortable too. I hope I can pick up a background at the local pet shop here. I've seen backgrounds, but most are of aquatic scenes. As soon as I get the new background I'll whip out the camera! :p Weehoo

Thanks guys!

Going with this thread instead of starting another one I have another question regarding aquascaping. Should I add more gravel to my tank and create a "hilly" sort of landscape to give the tank a better sense of depth perception? I am doing a water change shortly and I could impliment the change, so I was wondering what your thoughts on it would be.

P.S - I added a black background to the aquarium and it works wonderfully to highlight the decorations! Thanks again!

to create depth you should slope the substrate upwards. low in the front, high in the back. OR low on the left, high on the right, and vice versa also gives a different look but still appealing.

Any new photos?
