thanks! as of now cos theyre young, i feed them everyday, with shrimps, fish fillets and various frozen sea foods. though i still make it a habit to pop a feeder every night when i off the lights, i think its just reasonable that they eat n rip the feeder when they get hungry rather than taking it towards each other.

However, what you do to get your fish so wound up to tear apart a fish like that is, IMO, wrong. Pirahnas are NOT, in NO WAY, as vicious as this normally and are ONLY known to act like this in nature after the long dry spell has ended and the rains reconnect the small muddy puddles back together to form the rivers they live in in South America.

You do not need to get a piranha wound up in order to kill another fish.

My black p. would kill anything I put in the tank, full-stomach or not. It wouldn't touch anything except live fish.

In the wild many species feed on other animals.

yes brother i noticed that. even after eating a large fish fillets theyd still eat the feeder fish. greedy lil buggers :Angel:
