My 210 gallon set up in progress

I certainly will.
How does the RO setup work? I've been looking around at them...do you use it exclusively for your aquarium, and filter the water during water changes?
Thanks,
robbie

It removes impurities by passing the water through several chambers with replaceable filters. I think the number of chambers is typically between 2 and 7. The unit most recommended to me was http://airwaterice.com/product/1TYPHOONIII and has 4 chambers. I've also heard good things about www.thefilterguys.biz

If you get one you'll need a TDS meter, some of them have one and they should all come with directions. And yes, I'd use it exclusively for your aquarium, it is different than a PUR or Brita filter on your kitchen sink. I have heard of some drinking the water but eh, not something I'd like to try.

Thanks for looking!

It looks like it was made to sit there. Great looking tank.

Friends help you move...true friends help you move a 210 gal tank.

Looks fabulous there. Yes, your local store should carry test kits, but consider getting an RO/DI unit. With a tank your size it will quickly pay for itself and it will be nice to have many of the tap water problems that people have when using it in tanks.

That is awesome that you are building this for your brother. That does look like the tank was made to go there...

Thanks so much! I really wanted this tank to look like it belongs in that room....glad we pulled it off. That was part of the thought behind the color choice of the room...we were looking for something with an beachy/oceany type feel. I decided if we were going to set this monster up, I wanted to redo the whole room, not just plop the tank down in the middle of our dining room (which, by the way, has never had anything remotely close to a table and chairs in it).
More pics to come!
Robbie
