My 29 gallon "New Valhalla"

 You might wanna consider steppin' that up a bit in the near future either adding a '350' or Emp 400 or even a small 'can', C220 / XP2. As they increase in size your gonna appreciate the xtra filtration. Just a thought. Good luck, "T"

well for right now it'll have to work, when the weather gets warmer (its snowing where iam, up to 9 inches today) iam taking the pleco and the j.d. to a place that can handle large aggressive cichlids. after i get them 2 out, i wanna get something nice, maybe a Raphael catfish or somthing like that.

:) Spotted run a bit smaller than the striped 6" as opposed to 10"s. Both are interesting 'cats' but are pretty much nocturnal. (I've yet to get a real good shot of mine).

This was a yr. or so ago in his favorite spot (till the lights go out) "T"

Nice tank. Once the JD and Pleco are out, I would get some companions for the cory.

definitely. hes been freaking out once and a while, i think its due to not having any buddies around. my lfs wants almost 5-6 bux for cory's. even then they dont have any different names, just says cory catfish.

A top view of the tank, i LOVE this picture.

thanx lupin. my dempsey did somthing a few minutes ago that scared me alittle. he opened his mouth all the way then tried to eat one of my smaller danios. if he would have tried to swallow em i'd be afraid of him choking/dying.:lipssealedsmilie:

ARRGH! iam kind of irritated...... ive always thought my cory cat was an Elegant cory, but come to find out (liveaquaria had the wrong pic!) its a bronze cory! and my lfs also had em labeled as an elegant cory. i have to go up there and tell em what their problems are.......most fish are mislabeled, the pics they go by of which fish are what are their adult looks (for instance cichlids), and they normally only have juvenile ones. :wall::wall:

What's the scientific name of elegant cories? I've always despised common names where confusion would pop.
Corydoras elegans.
