Dont be fooled by the 2nd picutre. Thats no foam its just a relection from some water vapor droplets
looks great man. i've just completed all 15 pages! whew - need to rest the eyes. I bought a 29 gallon tank just this evening. I've been running a 2.5 gallon nano for a few months. I've been struggling trying to decide what size tank to get, etc, etc. It hasn't been easy deciding on a tiny 29, but for our home I think it will serve its purpose quite nicely. I'll be picking up the sand and salt mix by the end of the month. I'll keep watching this post since it's exactly what I'm putting together. Keep up the great work and keep the pics coming.

Yea, hard to compete with the $4000 systems! But we do what we can.
I'm actually taking back my 29 and getting a 37 gallon instead, hehe - it's only $15 more and my current stand will hold it. I have a friend who's going to sell me his 15 gallon tank for a sump and I will be getting my 37 drilled Friday. Let me tell you I'm excited!
I need to pick up more tests - I think Red Sea has a kit with 5 different tests, I'll probably pick it up plus a phos test. Man that stuff adds up!
I've seen a few people with the DIY lighting, I think I'll go that direction but for now I'll use a 130w power compact setup till I start growing corals.
bump for what? i dont see a question...lol..wher is it?*bump*
