Well this bites!! I just spent all this time reading 35 pages of posts to find out how to build a large aquarium out of plywood, and I'm left hanging ....... I hope Nolapete is OK, becuz I really want to see "the rest of the story!" ....... If you're sick, GET WELL SOON !! I'm dying to see how this turns out!

For those who are concerned, it looks like Pete's still kickin'. I gather that he had some sort of roommate situation and is trying to gather the funds necessary to finish this project.

Well, hi!

I know I've been away for a while and have a bit of news. Non fish-related I met a new girl, so I've been busy with her. (Insert applause here)

Now, in spite of roommates disappearing without notice, our crazy economy, and a dud of a fish auction, I've managed to finally acquire the funds to finish the tank. I expect to be able to have the acrylic ordered next week.

I need to locate a source for Dow 795 sealant and purchase the flat rubber spacer material this week sometime.

I figure there are several reasonable explanations for his absence:

A) He decided to test out some of the electrical work and his house short-circuited, cutting off his connection to us.

B) His group of 15 Arowana's kidnapped him and sold him into human trafficking.

C) Neptune, God of the Sea, summoned a hurricane as the only means to fill his tank, and he is cleaning out his garage again, now filled with debris as it is.

D) He realized this far into the project that he's lost interest in fish, and is now developing the room into a lion den, and no longer cares about us.

E) He built the tank from the wrong direction, and is now stuck inside it, watching the world through some glass windows.

F) He went whaling, hoping to catch a reasonably-sized Blue Whale for his new aquarium.

G) Or maybe he's just busy, had to go on a trip to pick up a supply of some sort, got the flu, or needed a break.
