i WOULD THINK SLOW FILL - A LITTLE EACH DAY AND CHECK FOR LEAKS

Not really. Blue Max is an elastomeric rubber coating which is basically a paint or spray on pond liner. It's not like pond armor which is an epoxy type hard coating.
