I discovered that I have an immense amount of stuff in my fish room. Tomorrow, I'm going to start sorting it all out to see what is actually useful and what I need to get rid of. That is after I get all the other stuff done.
I very nearly laughed out loud when I read that. :)

More cool stuffs.

Since the 135 will be used as a sump, the floor will be raised above it. The floor will flip up against the outer walls to allow access below. The framing for the raised floor will provide extra stability to the tank walls by tying them into the outer walls. The only parts that won't be raised will be by the entrance from the laundry room on the left side of the tank. I haven't decided on how to do the raised floor by the outside entrance yet.

Is this going to make your house unsellable, or are you actually adding equity? Your house is definitely going to be in a niche market now, hope you can find some rich hobbyist when the time comes to sell. I'd like to see your real estate agent pitch that house to a young couple.

hmm...this would be the total selling point for me. if i was on the market for a new house, and came across one with an enormous aquarium like that, it would suddenly jump to the top of my list. every house after that i would probably be thinking 'yes, but it doesn't come with a fish tank' :perv:

75 is planted with CO2 hooked up and 320 watts of light. I still have to plant the rest of the pygmy chain swords, but they were aggravating me so I left them for later.

I'm rethinking the 135 sump thing. I'm probably going to go with some rubbermaid tubs that are a bit easier to deal with if I need to remove them from the room.

A little progress:

Empty side of the garage
Garage straight
Tanks down
ZBeam rack down
210 stand and canopy before painting and mods
ZBeam rack up with 10s and 75 for planted
Some guy trying to take a pic of his MFK shirt = FAIL
