Front wall demo complete. Ceiling demo starts tomorrow night. Excuse the dust on the pics. My roommate left the lens cover open and most likely messed up my camera.

You are a brave man. I would be so terrified that I would start the project and never finish it! Looks like it's going to be awesome though!
Wow, putting perspective on the sheer size of it now. I'm getting this itchy feeling that I have to start copying this one way or the other in my house.... ;-)
Good fortune must be coming to you Pete with all that water that will start flowing in there.
Might consider a Feng Shui specialist though to make sure you got it all flowing the right way around...lol

As for your camera, is it a compact or an SLR-model? In either case, don't use any paper-towels or other cloth at first...
Simply use some compressed air from a can and see if you can blow it all off.
Be careful, start with the air from far away or the force would cause the small sand/dust-parts to scratch on the lens.
Check and if there's any particles left, try to move the air a bit closer and more direct at those spots.
If it doesn't help, off to Mr.Camera and let him open it up, clean it...

Naw, it's a cheap piece of crap camera that I need to replace anyway. I'll use the compressed air idea though.
The outlet that is on the dining room side of the wall is wired to a switch on the opposing wall. You can see the wire coming down in the last picture in the last picture post. The house was built in the 60s and it was used to control a swag light. There is no overhead fixture in my dining room.
I've always thought this sucked because my roommates, daughter, gf at the time I bought my house, and various other people have turned off the switch thinking it switched on a light. They switch it off and on once or more.
No big deal at first glance. Add an aquarium connected to the outlet. It becomes a big deal if I don't catch them doing it. I've had aquariums off for a short time that I've been fortunate enough to catch. It could be bad. The living room has a similar one. It just happens to be the outlet the 210 is connected to. :eek3:
This is a great bonus for my big tank build. I'm going to connect the tank lights to this switch. Too bad fluorescent ligts can't be dimmed. At least not the cheap ones.

wow. havent been able to check up on this for a week or so and its all looking good. thanks for sharing with all of us. i told my wife about it and before i said anything about wanting to build one she said no. lol but then she said maybe after the baby comes.
