) we hope to go from 50 to a 150-250 with all angels or parrots and the like cichlids. Then keeping a 30-50 for plantings and small fish for tank bio balance.
i plan to build an even larger tank into my house once i buy one. this will be in a few years and as of now i dont have kids so it's easy to think i will have time.

wow jaysen, this thread's been resurrected quite a few times over the past couple years! maybe thats a sign..... comeback of the big tank has to come soon! lol.
scary thing is that i have my new tank all planned with what fish and how i want to build it. it will be bigger than ever, i only need to buy a house first!
LOL, sounds kinda like me. I myself wouldn't mind a monster community tank, nothing like a thousand white clouds schooling together

if i had the chance to have a monster tank i think i'd have monster fish in it. but yeah, a huge planted community tank would be nice to dream about too!
