Sorry to hear about the catastrophe! Your 50g looked beautiful, and your new 29g looks just as great! Do you know what may have caused your 50g to leak though?

I have no idea why it leaked...it appears that the silicon went bad and parted somehow along the right side of the bottom...

I am really hesitant to re-seal it and fill it up again...I don't know what to do.

sorry man, did u lose your filter too?

I lucked out with that...water pooled up and blew the breaker on the power strip supplying my heater and my filter. A small consolation for losing 8 fish. At the same time lucky it didn't burn the place to the ground..

Look who is acclimating as I type this! After the loss of my GBR's I knew I wouldn't be able to 'replace' them, and decided to go with some other type of fish.. They were really special fish....to me anyway. So I was out today and stopped at a LFS and saw this little pair of GGR's, not to much different than GBR's but I decided to pick them up. It looks as though they were paired up already at the LFS. I definitely got a male and a female regardless...
