My 50G

Thanks. :)

They are all ready settling in. The one picture would have been better if they were both in focus...I didn't want to flash them anymore on their first night though, so it'll do. :P

Arg....I wake up this morning and they are both dead! I don't know what happened. I took their carcasses and a water sample to the LFS and they refunded my money. My water is fine, the guy said it must have just been a fluke....but I dunno.

I am worried my tank did it to them...The only thing I can think of is my PH swing...It goes from 6.5 during the day to 6.8-7.0 at night....does anyone think that would cause to much stress on them?

My other GBR's did fine. And my Tetras and Corys are fine also. Besides the tank leak situation, I've only lost a couple rummys, for whatever reason, and one of my Red Eyes went carpet surfing....so I am totally baffled, and devastated again, they were beautiful fish...

I'm so sorry to hear that. Being a newbie, I don't think I could really answer your question about the pH, but hopefully somebody else here could suggest some possibilities. Good Luck!

I know that must not be it, because I stop injecting CO2 at night, obviously PH is going to go up a little. I was just grasping at straws

I am afraid to buy more fish for that tank now...I'm not big on killing things...and I've killed a lot of fish recently, the leak wasn't really my fault, but still those fish were depending on me for care and I let them down....I'm going to go cry some more now...

Sorry for your recent fish troubles! You take wonderful photos and you have a great eye for decorating your tanks. I do hope that things get better soon and that you have no more losses!
