My 55 gal FW tank.

Wow... it's been ages since I last visited here. Still have the tank, still has the same ugly gravel haha. Still have Houdini (ropefish) and my albino rainbow shark.

Updates:
Tiger barbs have a tank of their own now. A nice little 20 gal with a more natural look. Which I gave to my wife, since she fell in love with my tank, and she wanted to get into the hobby.

Houdini (ropefish) is alive as ever, although, only active at night, which is normal for him.

The albino rainbow shark is a good size and still alive as ever aswell.

All of my cory cats are happily treading along the bottom of the tank darting in and out of nooks and crannies.

My angelfish (Finley, as my wife called him) died about a week ago. Not sure what happened, and he was a good 5" in size. He had what appeared to be a 'dent' along his side, towards the dorsal fin. He was swimming without control for about 2 days before he was gone. Had me in tears, since I had him for so long.

The Blue Rams went back to the shop where I purchased them due to the rainbow shark being a little more aggressive toward them than I thought he would.

For a while now, I have only been able to keep the tank cleaned and standard maintenance due to things going on in my life. I haven't had the chance of redoing the tank to a natural and planted tank like I had mentioned a while back that I wanted to do. I still have plans for that, and time, now, may allow me to get back on track.

I will try and snap shots of the shark, cories, and ropefish and have them posted.

Some of you may recall that this was my first attempt at a fish tank, and I dove into a 55 gal. I have learned a lot since then. Luckily, almost all my fish survived the move I made from my old house to my new one about 15 months back.

How's that for an update almost 2 years later? :raspberry:
