Angels with tetra's not for long, when the angels get big enough they will eat the tetra's they are a natural food source for angels in the wild

You're probably going to find that four angels are going to beat the living (noun) out of each other. Any less than six or seven and you will have a hierarchy society where the dominant fish will take over the tank and proceed to kill off your angels. So no matter if you want four or not, you will probably have one left.

And acer1, I would either suspect the shark or the angels of eating your glow-lites, possibly the blue eyes. Just check on which fish is getting bigger.

i have 2 angels and they seme to get along well in my community ......but also ...any small fish will get eatin..i lost a small tiger barb and 2 neons before i moved the neons to another tank

I've had a group of angels. They will develope a higharchy and fight but I have never seen it become deadly in my own fish. Usually a dominant one or a dominant pair will chase the others around, especially during feeding time. But sometimes u can have a completely peaceful group. My preference is a pair of angels.

I agree with you, a pair of angels would be preferable. Problem is that if and when they spawn, they would like to drive out everything from the tank. And if they cant drive them out, they'll just kill them. (I had this happen before, unfortunately...)
