my 55 planted

Your Anubias are planted too deep. You need to keep the rhizome above the substrate level.

The plant with the purple under the leaves is not aquatic. Nor are the plants with the white blotches on the leaves. Nor the mondo grass in the left side of the tank. From the looks of it well over half your plants are non-aquatic.

Looks nice, but sounds as if you may have some issues.

Ok the purple waffle plant , alumanum okant and mondo grass will come out and go into a vivarium, the anubias i will raise. Which other plants do you see anything else wrong with? Please let me know , thanks for pointing it out.

ok I removed the plants you said werent aquatic, they will find a new home in a vivaium .I also reaises the anubias and the rhizomes are out now. Anything else questionable? And can anyone reccomend a species i can put in the rear of the tank ?

I'd put some type of stem plant in the back. How much light do you have?

It looks good. :)

My lighting is 4 65 watt compact florescents . 260 watts. whats kind of stem plant do you reccomend girlygirl?

An amazon sword would really look great in there. They will grow tall and fill out in the back. They also suck up a lot of nutrients so the sword plant will most likely out compete any algae in the tank which is always a good thing.
