this is the sand :D i washed it and played with it a bit i stured it up and it takes about 10 miniuts to completely settle :D i couldnt beleive it much better than pool filter sand... but its sooooo fine

after they boil i will wash them again and let them soak untill i get the sand is ready then rinse and add after the sand :D

it looks like crap... im pissed.

i think its the red in the rock thats making it look bad... its weird when i picked it up it wasnt red at all now that its in the water... REDDDDDDD :(

i broke up with my girl friend... she had feelings for another guy, and my ex cheated on me and i dont want to go threw that again so i broke up with her. ugh so i feel like crap too. i lost my touch guys

For what it's worth, I like the rock. I'm not always a fan of the rock/reef look, but yours looks pretty good. Guess you just wanted the black and white look.

Bummer of a day to break up. Hard to see now, but this will pass. Hope you are able to find some other things to be thankful for today.
 
I like the look of the rock. It may not be the exact color you were looking for, but I honestly do like it. :-)

I'm sorry to hear about the girlfriend... unfortunately, from time to time, things like that happen. I don't want to sound cliche here, but there will be a lot more women that will come into your life. You're 16, you're young, you've got a lot to look forward to and a lot to learn yet. All we can do is take whatever knowledge we can from our experiences, and move forward a wiser person.

she was special but your right im 16 no way she was the one... im sure shes out there though :)

ok so heres my next plan

i took of the rim and lid of the tank so that its clear all the way to the tippy top now im going to fabricate two stands to suport the light one on each side...

any ideas on how i could acomplish this?

also im thinking the rock will look better once some algea grows ... idk might swap it out with flag stone in a week or two
