My 70gallon

I currently have a 70gallon......and I'm starting to get bored with the set up, I'd love to be able to go with live plants...but I have the tank rocks...so wouldnt work, and too big of a hassle to move everything and start over....plus im running on limited funds.. so, any help with how i might be able to liven it up would be great

And as you can tell below my tank is still very empty...so, any input on great fish to keep would be nice too.....thanks!

Never just top off, regular water changes!

personally ive been looking at getting a 75 to start a Discus tank.

try some java fern or java moss to start with. both of them dont need to be in the gravel. not liking the fake plants.

Any sites i can visit that might show me different set ups for 70gallon tanks, or tanks around that size that might give me some ideas on a good set up I can begin building?

definitely fill up the tank all of the way... 25% water cahnges a week are best for all of the fish's health.

as for future stocking, do you have any ideas of what you would like to put in the tank?

Looks good for now. I think it need's a few more fish maybe or some rock work would also make it look nicer.

plants on a budget, if you know someone with a well planted tank ask for cuttings' aquarium plants are easy to root up and grow. or like i have when you go to your lfs and see driftwood planted up in their stock tanks and it has been munched by the inhabitants ask for it at a reduced price it will grow back. this has saved me a fortune
