Oscars...no oscars is this tank. But I do like the tigers. This has been set up since About the middle of September. I have 2 Ebo 250's and 2 emperor 400's and a single 48" ALL Glass strip light. Since I have the emperor on the 90, I just transfered one of the bio wheels to the 75.
. I picked the Jack first and got the smallest one I could find knowing that in the end it might turn out to be the most aggressive. He's gotten a little bigger than the pic but not much. I then got the firemouths and I was hoping to get a pair. I know that when and if they have eggs things might get interesting. but I'll see how it goes. One has a lot more color in the dorsal fin and the fins look a little more pointed. Darn cool looking fish I might add. Then I got the salvini. Allready he/she is very yellow with a prominant black stripe down the side. It's not much bigger than the JAck and they show no aggression towards each other. Only the firemouths do any real chasing and thats mostly with each other.
Thanks for the comments. I tried to make it look like a river bed and with the walnut colored gravel and the river stones. The little guys are allready digging out under some of the rocks.
