My 80G 2 months in.

Great looking tank. It looks healthy & the fish seem to be happy. Have you had any algae issues so far? And if you had, how to you go on handling it?

I had 2 spots of BBA and did 50% water change and scrubbed all rocks and driftwood.
I also did full cleaning on one of two of the filters, the hob. Then 3 days later I cleaned the canister filter aswell.
Now I clean one or the other every 2 weeks.
Then I got diatoms, just reduced the photo period to 10 hrs and a little glass scrubbing, done. (the nerites I got might have helped too)
So really... so far so good! (I don't want to jinx myself, knock on wood) I have a great community of fish that interact well (opera like at moments).
The rockscape is great imo lol and my plants are flourishing.
A worry is there though.. my fantail is getting big! worried he might start sucking up the lil tetras

Beautiful tank. I especially like your rock work.
My Nerites destroyed the diatoms in my shrimp tank really quick.

Hehe. My tank will almost never get a cleaning like you do on your water changes :)
I like doing maintenance, but don't have much time for it. It's amazing how much difference 2 months makes! My 29 is just over that...

Thanks!
I added java moss to the large driftwood and top rock on the right.

well I only have 2 tanks so far...
I really want to get a python as I do all by bucket now.
I guess im old school lol but it makes for a great sunday afternoon!
The taredown and rebuild is fun :)

Looking great!
