My 90 gal planted tank...

i can get you tons of parrot feather in june when it starts to grow locally. it doesnt do well submerged and prefers being mostly out of the water. this is why it is more suited for ponds. it did well in my 125 and is on the thread in the beginning but i just didnt like the way it looked. now i have some in a vase on the window sil. it grows much better emersed with snails in the vase feeding them.
 
gotcha. i think i will pass. My mom said that she has plenty that grows in her ponds, but it is generally riight at the edge and grows sorta outa control, but it mostly out of water there as well. I don't think I really desire plants growing out of my tank at this point lol

tank update--i didn't feed the fish last night or this morning and i already have noticed the water clearning. I am not sure if I was overfeeding or if it was a combination of all the new plants and the food or what, but the fish aren't going to starve I will get them some treats and goodies tonight...

I HAVE BABIES!!!!! My molly's gave birth tonight & so far I have netted up 9. But in my 90 with the new plants i am sure there are a few more lil boogers in the tank somewhere. I have them in a temp home in the 30 gal in a breeder net with my cherry shrimp that is still carrying her eggs.

I am no photographer, but my tank is really giving me tons of joy with my new additions in such a short time. I can't wait to watch it mature!!
