Looks like a great start.

Looks awesome! Did you put live rock and sand in there?

My tank cycled in about 2 weeks with all the live crap i ended up putting in there.

Yeah, It has 88 Pounds of Walt Smith Premium Pucani Live Rock and 80 pounds of CaribSea Live Sand. The rock had just arrived in my LFS store the day of my setup and it was covered with red, pink, blue, green, gold, purple and blue coralline algae so I wanted it, that meant it had to go through the second curing in my tank since they had not even unpacked it yet. The first 5 days were horrendous, I though someone had set a few pounds of fish in my living room for a few days. The rock smelled great when first putting it in the tank, just the normal ocean smell, but after 24hours, whew, break out the gas masks!! After the first 5 days were up and the addition of a mesh bag of activated coral, the smell has completely went away and the tank is cycling beautifully. May have to do a partial change if the ammonia doesn't drop in the next week or two, been 10 days and it is still off the charts.

The tank is looking good, what type of corals are you planning on ?

Well the ammonia dropped last Tuesday and now waiting for the Nitrites to drop. It will be 4 weeks as of this coming Saturday and not quite ready yet. The Nitrites and Nitrates are through the roof right now so according to what I have read and my LFS, that usually means that you are only a few days or so away from the cycling to be completed. I do have so hitch hiker Cerith snail babies, 2 of them, that seem to have survived the horrible conditions of the cycle. I couldn't believe that I sat there and watched then for at least 30 minutes. Just about scraped em off as I was cleaning the glass of green algae when I noticed them. Once it is finished I will be adding my clean up crew of Hermits, peppermint shrimp, a sea star or two and a handful of cerith and narcissus snails, maybe a sea hare or Lawnmower Blenny. Then I am just going to wait until my Coralline Algae really takes off before adding too much more. As for corals some of the first ones to go in when the tank and I am ready will be. Pink and Green Frogspawn, Pink and Green Hammer, Long Polyp Toadstool Leather, Chili Coral, Lime Green Hydropora, and an elegance. Farther down the road I would like to add some tree sponges, some lace corals, and a few acropora's. It will just take time and $$$$$$$$. Most of the ones I want are very bright or neon colors and they seem to carry a premium price tag both at the LFS and online so one here and one there will have to be how it is done.
