Here is my 90 gallon stand and hood that I have been building and talking about. I still need paint it and have the 90 and 10 gallon tanks drilled. What do you guys think? It’s coming along nice now.

Really nice looks almost like a shaker style. Such a pretty wood grain to almost a shame to paint over it.

i need to make a canopy for my 40 breeder, so im jsut wondering... what type of wood are you using and how much did it cost? (not including the trims and such)
just wondering, you dont have to awnser if you dont want to
it looks nice :thm:

The hood I used 12" width boards and cut them to make the box. It was in the special wood isle in Lowes. The stand is plywood put around a 2x4 frame. It’s that simple. Just make sure u have a table saw or your cuts will be a little off and that will mess you up bad :)
Cost is hard to say. The stand I got with the tank just refinished with molding and sanding. The canopy cost around 80 for the wood. Hope that helps
