My 90

how long hav the plans been in there, and what is your lighting, dosing, CO2, etc?

The plants have been in there for a month, i have two 23 wat flouresent bulbs, i have four bags of flourish flourite substrate (makes the water very cloudy for a long time!) I have a DIY co2 system, which im am unsure of if its efficent, i counted and its every 7seconds then every 2 seconds it bubbles into my intake.
Have you tried java fern or java moss?

I tryed to get some java fern/moss for a long time, and i can't find it at my LFS and not so local fish stores. I guess ill order it online.

Thanks for the elephant nose compliments, he makes it a little difficult to treat the tank for ich and other illnesses, but i enjoy him very much

Ya look in our classified's there is always people getting rid of java moss and java fern. Eventually bamboo will rot when left submersed like that. You will need to let it grow up out of the tank if it is to last forever. I do think that this takes time though. There are some other hardy plants out there that silver dollars wont eat as well. Put a post in the Plants section and Im sure you will get a reply on what they will leave alone.
Very Nice tank though. I love severum's and yours look quite nice.

6 out of 11 are going out of the tank behind the light, so i hope the others dont rot. I bought them and a fish store so i didnt think they would rot, thanks for the advice.

FYI red-clawed crabs need BW and won't live long in a FW tank.

looks great though.

Looks good! Keep your eye on the "bamboo" it's actually a species of Dracaena, a terrestrial plant. If it's doing good growing underwater you must be doing something right. Keep up the good work.:dance2:

Very nice, but I agree with removing the background and replace with solid color.

I LOVE the sevs! very nice!.. I didnt know bamboo could grow in water like that. nice job!

yea, i know i have a reef background... And i might have to get ride of my green sev, he gets very aggresive towards my silver dollars and rainbow
